DataCanvas Partners with Singapore’s KoolLogix to Sign Strategic MoU, Building an AI Innovation Ecosystem

On March 25, 2025, DataCanvas and KoolLogix signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Singapore. The collaboration aims to leverage the technological foundation of the A*STAR–KoolLogix Joint Lab, combined with DataCanvas’s deep industry expertise in artificial intelligence, to jointly drive innovative applications of AI in data centers and IT operations. Dr. XU Jiang, Head of International Business at DataCanvas, attended the signing ceremony, along with representatives C.K. Cheong and James Lim from the Joint Lab.

DataCanvas and KoolLogix sign the MoU in Singapore

The A*STAR–KoolLogix Joint Lab is a research and development institution jointly established by Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and KoolLogix, dedicated to advancing IT infrastructure solutions through interdisciplinary research. As Singapore’s national research agency, A*STAR holds a global leadership position in technological R&D, industry transformation, and talent development.

According to the MoU, the two parties will collaborate in five key areas, with a focus on:

l AI Service Platform Development: Jointly developing an AI service platform to support data center operations, which will be piloted within the Joint Lab before being gradually rolled out across Singapore.

l Research Collaboration: Exploring AI applications in IT infrastructure optimization, providing intelligent and sustainable solutions for data center operations across the region.

C.K. Cheong stated: “This collaboration will bring brand-new AI technologies and perspectives to the Joint Lab, helping us achieve more breakthrough progress in IT infrastructure research. By working with DataCanvas, we can not only develop globally competitive IT infrastructure solutions but also further enhance Singapore’s influence and competitiveness in AI and data center innovation.”
